We represent walking for all Queenslanders

QUT green bridge survey

Travel behaviour on cross river pedestrian/cycling bridges

Queensland Walks proudly supports all infrastructure that makes walking safer, easier and more enjoyable for everyone. Green Bridges are a fantastic example of the kinds of projects we champion, creating vital links that connect communities and encourage active, healthy travel.

So we’re pleased to share a new research survey from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT), aimed at understanding how these Green Bridges have influenced people’s travel habits. The study supports evidence-based planning for more sustainable transport infrastructure across our growing city.

The Faculty of Engineering of the Queensland University of Technology is doing a quick survey about how the new Green Bridges have impacted the travel habits of people in Brisbane. If you’re aged 18 or over, we invite you to share your experience by completing the survey. It only takes a few minutes and your insights will help shape the future of walking infrastructure in Brisbane.
