Regional Q-Walkshops – day or night in August
We’re very excited to announce that we’ll be visiting Rockhampton and Lammermoor in the final week of August to host daytime and nighttime Q-Walkshops. Join us!
We’re hosting our first regional Safe Cities | Safe Streets walk on Thursday 28 August thanks to our Queensland Health – Queensland Women and Girls Health Promotion Program funding. We’ll be in Lammermoor in Livingstone Shire on Wednesday 27 August thanks to the 10,000 Steps, Step Into Nature campaign, and the Queensland Walking Alliance will be coordinating a Cooler Paths and Places for Walking walk in Rockhampton on Wed 27 August.

Our Queensland Walkshops have been developed through the Queensland Government’s Action Plan for Walking funding, and through this work we’ve been able to work in partnership with local government and stakeholders to help profile walking and improve walkability in Queensland.
