With the state election drawing near, the Queensland Walking Alliance will discuss how walking will be prioritised by state representatives, and the leadership that the Queensland Walking Alliance (QWA) could have in guiding policy and prioritising walking through funding and awareness-raising. We invite QWA members to contribute to a discussion on walking-related priorities for the election. We will aim to agree on a QWA statement to provide to the state election candidates, as well as to our members and friends.
