Local community volunteers: advocacy and workshop attendance

Do you have an interest in walking for a purpose, walking for transport or to public transport, or walking to the shops, to work or school?

Would you like to support Queensland Walks’ work in regional areas to improve the conditions for walking in Queensland? We’d love to hear from you!
We’re looking for local community members and organisations who would like to help support our work to improve the places where we walk, run, roll or stroll. The role is a volunteer position, and we will provide some support and guidance about walking advocacy and the Walking Network Planning workshops coming to your area.

Tell us a little about yourself. Do you have any experience in advocacy, health, walking planning or transport planning or outdoor recreation? No experience is necessary, but a willingness to attend a free online workshop to learn the principles of walkable suburbs and towns. We're looking for Queensland community members who are passionate about improving towns and suburbs for generations to come.
