Queensland Walks’ Week campaign is a free online community celebration of walking in Queensland, hosted by Queensland Walks and supported by the Queensland Government, 10,000 Steps and Heart Foundation Walking.
Queensland Walks’ Week 2020 is designed to improve the health of Queenslanders by encouraging walking every day and promoting better walking environments for all.
Through the promotion of Queensland Walk’s Week 2020, Queensland Walks aims to emphasise the importance and value of walking, to empower and motivate individuals and groups to walk more every day, and to connect the Queensland walking community.
Significant physical and mental health benefits can be achieved by walking every day, so get involved by registering for Queensland Walks’ Week 2020 individually and with your group or team and start promoting Queensland Walks’ Week today.
Anyone can get involved. You can register for Queensland Walks’ Week 2020 individually, and can also bring together friends, family or workmates in a team or walking group to help motivate each other to walk more.
Be safe while walking: stay up to date on the latest Queensland Government COVID-19 health advice.

Registered for Walk at Work Week in previous years?
Being mindful of the changing circumstances of Queenslanders due to COVID-19, Queensland Walks has refocused the previously named Walk at Work Week to incorporate more than workplace walking.
The change to Queensland Walks’ Week #qldwalksweek will mean that we will be able to encourage more people to walk more often, COVID-safely and in all settings: workplaces, clinics, working from home, and even recreationally (after work, weekend bushwalking etc). You can get involved by starting a step challenge or tournaments, walking group, coffee trails and walking meetings.
Remember to social-distance and follow the latest Queensland Health advice. Get ready for Queensland Walks’ Week!
