Jane’s Walk 2025 (Gold Coast)
Inspired by Jane Jacobs, a pioneering urbanist who championed walkable, people-centred cities, Jane’s Walks are free, community-led events held globally in early May, designed to bring people together to discuss what makes great places. Whether you’re a city planner, local history buff, architecture enthusiast, or just someone who loves their neighbourhood, this walk is for you!
Our traditional Gold Coast Planners hit the streets format is back for 2025, allowing attendees to explore the Tedder Avenue (and surrounds) with insights from planning, architecture and urban design perspectives. Formal presentations will be on offer, but as always, the event allows for group discussions to unpick the fabric of the precinct.
The route will see us walking for no longer than 60 minutes with ample stops at points of interest for rest and discussion.
The session will conclude at a venue with networking over drinks and food (at your own cost). We look forward to seeing you there! We look forward to seeing you there!
