Townsville Hike and Explore May events

May is shaping up to be another busy month for our friends at Townsville Hike and Explore. There are 11 walking events planned, including half day, full day and over night camp options.

The Hike and Explore network has more than 45,000 members nationally, with Townsville one of the largest and most active groups. Here are the May activities:

Sat 3 – Saltwater Gorge

Sat 10 – Wallaman Falls

Sun 11 – Butterfly Falls

Sun11 – Family adventures

Sat 17 – Cowboys Charity Hike Weekend

Sun 18 – Cowboys Charity Hike Weekend

Sat 24 – Magnetic Island trails

Sat 24 – Women’s society

Sun 25 – Rope Falls

Sat 31 – Black Hole / Waterview Creek

There are also Weekday Walkabouts from Monday to Friday for those looking for a more gentle walking experience.
