Join us for the Transport Equity Summit!
Transport Equity Summit | Friday 30 October 2026 | Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre
Registration 8.30am | Summit 9am – 5pm |
Networking Drinks 5pm – 6pm

The Summit is being hosted by TransitCare, Australia’s largest community transport provider, to help highlight the importance of accessible transport to community health and wellbeing.
TransitCare are bringing together leaders and experts from government, transport, infrastructure, planning, technology, accessibility, research, sport and community services to find practical solutions to transport disadvantage in the lead-up to Brisbane 2032 and beyond.
An interactive and collaborative format
The Summit is designed to deliver practical solutions to the challenge of moving people around Brisbane and southeast Queensland for the 2032 Games and beyond. Delegates will work with researchers, subject matter experts and people with lived experience in facilitated Journey Design Labs to consider four key challenges:
- Every journey can be planned and booked with confidence – what information is needed via what platforms and how can everyone use this easily?
- Every person can find their way – during the trip what is needed to make sure people can navigate safely?
- Every place is connected – what is needed to make it easy and safe to connect the gaps between streets, stations & stadiums?
- Every transport mode works together – what is needed to integrate transport modes and platforms for a seamless experience?
The findings will inform a Transport Equity Framework report identifying practical actions that government agencies, industry and the community can incorporate into their planning for 2032 and beyond.
